Description

You might recognise Jo Peel’s work from around Sheffield. She’s the artist behind the beautiful industrial themed murals on the side of Hagglers Corner and on Staniforth Road in Attercliffe. She also had a mural celebrating community up on Chesterfield Road for a bit.

Jo’s contribution to the Herd of Sheffield takes on her familiar themes of our city’s industrial heritage intertwined with nature and the constant evolution of the skyline with cranes. A beautiful celebration of Sheffield’s urban landscape. Her elephant is located on Brown Street outside the Yorkshire Art Space.
