The abstract design takes inspiration from the hexagonal shape of the Crucible theatre, where the World Snooker Championships have been held since 1977.]]>

                <![CDATA[Painted cabinets on Fargate in homage to the late Professor Nigel Dunnent. His Grey-to-Green planting and Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDs) have transformed many areas of the city centre towards the River Don; bringing greenery and a more attractive and natural flood defence to the city. He passed away on the 26th April 2026.

R U OK, with support from Friends of Sheffield City Centre, has created the tribute.

The design, colours and shapes are inspired by the flowers in bloom on the day Nigel passed away.]]>
