Description
Mural of English professional footballer Millie Bright on London Road. It is a celebration of the England team’s captain helping lead her team to the 2023 World Cup finals. The mural was commissioned by a well-known cola brand, which can be clearly seen in the background of the artwork. It was designed by Global Street Art and artist Peter Barber.
Millie has a strong local connection. She was born in Chesterfield, grew up in Killamarsh and played for Sheffield United’s academy.
