Jo Peel’s murals are instantly recognisable. She uses a very limited colour palette to paint ever changing urban landscapes. Her works tend to feature bold black-and-white illustrations of industrial and construction sites with bright blocks of colour in the background, usually in turquoise, orange and occasionally pink. She has painted many walls in the city centre and beyond out into the suburbs like her piece in Attercliffe.

Jo is based in Sheffield but her murals can be found around the world. She has painted walls in many countries including Brazil, Poland and Japan. Closer to home she has contributed to the street art scenes of London, Bristol and Leeds. Thankfully she continues to make a big contribution to Sheffield.
