Bears of Sheffield

Summer 2021

The Bears of Sheffield was a large public sculpture trail that span the city of Sheffield throughout the summer of 2021. It was organised by the Children's Hospital Charity to raise money for a new Cancer and Leukaemia ward.

There were 60 large bears, featuring designs by local and national artists, including many of Sheffield's popular street artists. Additionally, there were 100 small bear sculptures created by local schools.

The bears were auctioned off at the end of the trail and raised an impressive £525k for the hospital charity.

The Little Bears

The Little Bears were smaller sculptures, designed and painted by local schools.
