Peachzz’s Reverie mural, painted last summer, has been nominated for ‘best mural in the World’ as part of Street Art Cities’ best of 2024 awards. A public vote to find the winner is now open.

Street Art Cities’ ‘best of’ awards are well-renowned in the street art community. Just getting nominated is a huge achievement and brings lots of buzz with it.

Reverie is up against lots of amazing murals from across the globe. However, we reckon Peachzz really deserves to win this. Standing at 25.5 metres tall, it is Sheffield’s tallest mural and has been an instant hit with people. Last year, we included it in our shortlist for the best and most iconic Sheffield murals to celebrate ten years of Street Art Sheffield. Our supporters overwhelmingly voted for it as the very best.

Reverie

If you haven’t seen Reverie yet, then you need to get yourself down to Pound’s Park in the heart of the city to check it out. It is truly beautiful.

Just getting close to the top 3 of Street Art Cities’ awards would mean the world to Peachzz. It would not only lead to greater international recognition for her incredible artwork, but also Sheffield’s street art scene.

Alongside fellow artist Alastair Flindall, Peachzz has been working hard to launch a new street art festival here in Sheffield later this year. Winning in Street Art Cities’ awards would really give this a boost.

Voting ends on the 25th January 2025. You’ve got a few weeks to get your votes in and tell your friends.
