Sheffield Hallam graduate Tom Clayton created the sculpture that stands outside the university in Hallam Square. It’s a celebration of Sheffield’s industrial heritage as a major producer of steel. Little windows in the elephants shiny metallic looking outer shell reveal wires, cogs and lights.
