Description
To mark World Book Day 2021, some postboxes across the UK have been specially selected and repainted to represent popular children’s books. Local artist Lydia Monks was selected by the Royal Mail to transform one of the postboxes on Clarkehouse Road, outside the King Edward VII School. The design features characters from Julia Donaldson’s book ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ which was also illustrated by Lydia.
